Admission was £7 for adults and £3 to park which I personally think is a 'tad' expensive but nevertheless we entered the showground with high expectations and we weren't disappointed.
First stop, the cake stall!

Then, we entered the marquee displaying the floral arrangements - it was hard to pick a favourite. This arrangement was dedicated to the 1920s/1930s - very nostalgic.
The colours in this one were amazing.
There were some more unusual displays. A cacti lover's delight.
And amazingly perfect bonsai trees
The flowers were beyond beautiful. Although this sign said 'geraniums' these are in fact begonias! They were gigantic and attracted quite a crowd.

Collections of dahlias.
The smell from these lilies was so intense it took your breath away.
Even the vegetable arrangements were works of art - I was fascinated by this one in particular - where do you start?Just watch out for the insects....................
especially the flies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
